Cassandra Gorton has worked across the information management sector as a librarian, records manager and archivist in health, government, and higher education. Cassandra currently works as the Manager – Access & Discovery at Monash Health and is responsible for maintaining and optimising the library’s collections and online service points to support clinicians, researchers and health professional students in their investigations and education.

The input of health and smaller libraries is often lacking in national conversations regarding resource sharing. So too, have OCLC libraries been neglected when considering the recent Trove Collaborative Services model change and OAI-PMH harvesting of bibliographic data.
I will bring my varied sector experience and technical knowledge to the Trove Strategic Advisory Committee to ensure that small libraries, health libraries and OCLC libraries are represented, and have a voice within Trove, as well as striving for transparency and ethical decision making.
