Engaging with the Trove Community
The new Trove Community Services team is beginning to engage with communities who use Trove to help us stay in touch with their wants and needs. We are also seeking to connect with users who may not have interacted with Trove before.
As part of this community engagement, we welcomed a visit from the Wodonga Family History Society who visited the National Library of Australia this month to learn more about Trove research, Trove Partnerships and how we digitise collections for Trove.

The group took part in a training workshop, that included a session on using lists and tags in Trove. They also met with the Library’s family history librarians who showed them online and onsite family history resources and guided them through the Library’s new website.

Library volunteer tour guides also gave the group a tour through the reading rooms and sneak peek at some of the stacks behind the scenes.
Are you part of a community group using Trove? Are you able to visit the National Library onsite? Or are you running your own workshops that we could help with? Connect with us to discuss what we can offer.
