Delve into Victoria
The State Library of Victoria, a Principal Partner of Trove, have contributed, funded, and facilitated the digitisation of hundreds of thousands of pages of Victorian newspapers – available to everyone, for free, in Trove.
Every year their projects adds more Victorian Newspapers to Trove. A particular exciting recent project of theirs will result in the Sun News-Pictorial, a Melbourne tabloid which began in 1922 and ran until 1990 when it merged with The Herald to form the Herald Sun becoming available on Trove. The Sun News-Pictorial is a highly used research tool for researchers and more in Victoria, Australia and overseas.
