Tags are keywords that you can add to items in Trove which can make them easier to find. A tag can describe things such as a topic, a place, an event, a person, a feeling, or your personal research progress. All tags you add should meet the Trove Terms of use

Find and search tags

You may see tags in a Trove work or item record (in the Find out more on this topic... section), and in a newspaper or gazette article (in the Tags   section in the sidebar). When you select the tag, it will activate a Trove search with the tag keyword/s.

You can also search for public tags from the Trove homepage by entering publictag: followed by the keyword/s. For example, to search for the tag lighthouse, enter: publictag:lighthouse
