Mountain Trek Re-enacted
Traffic on the Great Western Highway, near St. Mary's, was disrupted on Wednes lay by a party of actors wh o are re-enacting the 1813 cro ssing of the Blue Mountains. Qiree men, portraying the ex plorers Blaxland, Lawson and Wentworth, set out from. St. Gary's with four packhorses. The 1951 speedway season has opened in London and large crowds are once again flocking to see their favourites in action.
