Fifteen women, some of whom

meeting in the Town Hall reception
room to-day, when 200 representa
tive citizens expressed to Sir Arthur
Duekham, leader of the British
Economic Mission, appreciation of
the mission's work and report. Five
of the women were removed by the
police. Three accompanied the
fifth ejection and the others left
at the conclusion of the speech of the
president of the Australian Council
of Trades Unions, Mr. W. J. Dug

the Lord Mayor, Alderman H. D.
Luxton, who presided and later
when the expression "Aoft soap"
came in a shrill excited voice dur

the Victorian Employers' Federa

Duggan was called upon to second
the resolution of thanks to Sir
Arthur Duckham and appreciation
of the work of himself and his col

disturbance reached its height.
Three women shouted insults at the
same time, and one from the centre
of the room cried above the uproar,
"Christ had only one Judas, but
the workers to day have thousands."
The feeling of the meeting was over
