ARRIVALS.

from Hobart Town the 29th day of September.

The William Carry, 'brig, from Liverpool, was
going into Hobart Town when the 3fedwray sailed.
The cargo of wheat ex lndyrs, from Bombay, had
been purchased by Government at 12s. 6d. per
bushel. Lost overboard from the fore yard John
Buckley, seaman. The Marian TWatson was to
sail on Sunday last for-this port.

AQUILLA, cutter, 40 tons, Francis, master,
from New Zealand, the 18th day of September,
D. Scott, agent. CARGo-67 barrels pork, 5
cases 3 casks hams, I tons flax, 3 casks lard, 2
-tons potatoes. PAssENoEns-Messrs. Emsley
and Cohen. NEws-Captain Francis reports
that the natives were at war at Tauranga, Bay of
Plenty. The Danid, brig, arrived from Sydney
the 16th September. The Hind, brig, sailed on
the 11th September, for the Thames, and intended
to return to the Bay, and from thence to Sydney.
The American ship Richmond, had been con
demned being unfit for sea. Mr. Harris had pur
chased the hfll and cargo of the American brig
Brilliant, wrecked at the Bay of Plenty.
The CALEDONIA, from Leith via Port Philip,
was off.the port last evening at Sun-set.
