To the Electors of
Goulburn.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN,-As I
stated in a former announcement, I
have had requests for a considerable time
past, from almost every portion of the
Electorate, to allow myself to be nominated
at the forthcoming election. I have pledged
my word that I would consent, and in ac-
cordance with that pledge I now place my
candidature before the Electors. I take it
that there are three parties to be Consider-
ed in the contest-the Labour League, the
Liberal and Reform Association, and the
large proportion of the voters outside both
the bodies. To these latter, who are free
and independent electors, I appeal for sup-
port as an Independent Candidate. I will
take an early opportunity of addressing
meetings at the various centres, of which
due notice will be given.
Yours, obediently,
JAMES A. GEGG.
