WINDELLAMA ANID BRONTI.
(jErom out Cortespondent.)
A VE.' interesting cricket match was played oii'th
Bronti dricket ground last Sut'urday between Bun.
gonis and Bronti oritketera, andi resulted in the
former oloven winning by three runs, after a great
coutest. The elevens were well matehed, although
IBronti bad not her best eleven, having two enubsti
tutns to'make up thi number requisite, while the
visitors had the pict of their club on the ground.
However, Bungonia in their first innings ecored
44 tins (Blalre 13), and indthoir, second innings 29
rums (Funaell 13), mnking a total of 73. Brdnlti in
their first innings soorid 45 rues (q. Cared. I,
Alf. Rbberts i), anrid in their second innings 25 runs
(G. Carey and A. Ostay 7 each), the total being 70
runs. I understand the return motth will be played
next scasonu, when Bronti will regain all lost laurels.
Tho fielding for lungonia was very good, through
much praetico I have no doubt, while Bronti
fielderib wete slow in notion on this oooasion.
There is an attempt being made to get up a little
sport for Queen's Birthday, which, I hopoe, will be
successful. However, it will not be for the want of
tr)ying it we fail in our asuse. I am informed the
Good Templars ore to give a pionia on the 28th
instant, near hIr. J. Oroker's residence, end I ex.
pect there will bhe a nice gotheriug.
We have just lost our minister, the Rev. J. A.

noees tovards him during his sojourn amongst them.
He had gained esteem and many friends, and we
trust his sucoeosor may be equally well liked.
