BEACONSFIELD HOSPITAL.
A meeting of governors was held in the
Courthouse on 2nd Inst Present Mr
T E Woodman (chairman) Messrs
Douglas, Wyett, Purvis, McSkimming,
Heeiev, Shultz Walduck Willey Zanker,
Nichols and secretary An apology was
received from Mr Rough
The visiting committees report was
adopted The question of subscriptions
had been considered, and the committee
recommended that the rule bearing on
this be enforced, viz that the subscription
of 6d per week shall only entitle the
person subscribing to admission to the
hospital and the payment of 6d per week
will entitle any two members of the
family to admission Subscribers to have
notice by) circular It was unanimously
agreed to adopt this, as the amount
was not sufficient to cover the cost.
The Finance Committee reported that
they had instructed the collector to issue
summonses against a number of people
who had not paid their hospital fees
The state of the hospital for May was as
follows -Remaining on April 30, 4 males
and 1 female , died 1 male and 1 female ,
remaining, 4 males and 3 females
The medical officers i reports were tabled
Accounts to the amount of £50/2/3 were
passed for payment The receipts for the
month were ItS 18/3
The offer of a dramatic entertainment to
supplement funds was gratefully accepted
