t -COMPARABLE
BULL WHISKY.
IS tl|8 Purest, Safest, aijd uiast Deliuipuu Spirit
that lias over been imported. It lias been
specially selected from the famous small distilleries
in the Highlands of Scotland. Its tonic and in
vigorating qualities equal tlioso of asy medicine in
the pharmacopoeia, and vastly exojl those of any
of the ordinary alcoholic compounds. The follow
ing testimonials have been given to the superior
excellence of-this Incomparable Whisky:—
" Russell-street, Melbourne.—I have had overy
opportunity of testing and tasting tho qualities of
{ho whisky imported by Messrs. l'hipps, Turn
liul] And (Jo. It is of a most delicious flavor, be
ing wild and very old, and genuine malt liquor. I
can confidently recommend it, and if taken in such
moderate quantity as every reasonable person can
determine for himself, it will be found perfectly
wholesome and invigorating. For the Australian
climate it is, in my opinion, the best and safest of
all malt liquors, and it is on every account to be
preferred to brandy as a stimulant.—(Signed)
William H. Cammjell, Surgeon."
No. 2.—" I have perused the letter of my friend
Dr. W. H. Campbell upon the whisky imported
by Messrs. Phipps, Turnbull, and Co., and have
pleasure in endorsing his opinion of it. Chemi
cal investigations, extending over a long series
of years both in England and in this country,
have convinced me that the safest of all
liquors when used in moderation is old ripe
'inalt whisky. The Genevas and .Schnapps
and the ordinary brandies, have not ahenvn tho
happy result claimed for them. In a climate like
ours—subject to violent and rapid changes from
hot to cold, and vice versa—a spirit that will act
mildly and with certainty on the urinary system
is that one, among alcoholic drinks (as such), the
most highly to ba valued and trusted.—(Signed
.'John J. Blkasdalk, M.D."
