Sir,-Referring to your letter of 17th
December last, urging the establishment of
Courts of Petty Sessions at Broke and
Jerry's Plains. I am directed by the
Minister of 'Justice 'and l Public'.lnstruction
to inform you that tho necessary steps nru
now-being taken with a view.to tlie.appblnt
mcht of 'Petty .'Sessions at those places,
and that a -further comnninlcatiou will
shortly be addressed to you .on the subject,
