Five Stakes_To^Be Decided
Such good nominations were received on
Friday for the reopening coursing meeting
of the Adelaide Plumpton Club, to be held
at the Birkalla enciosure tomorrow that it
has been necessary to ru.n the Novice Stake
in divisions. Twelve nominations were re
ceived for the Jolly Term staKe. seven for
the all-aged event, and 24 for the two-Sag
limit. Mr. T. Willing, of Wimilta. will
judge, and W. Ducstan will be slipper. The
draw took place at the office of the secre
tary iMr. Fred Cook). Currie street, city, on
Saturday. Counsng will begin at 10 2jn.
The novice dogs must be on the ground by 9
a.m. for purposes of identification. Coursing
will open with the first round of the Winter
Stake, and a round of each stake will be
completed before luncheon. Tbe draw Is: —
Winter Stake. — Division 1 — For 19 dogs
that have not won a course in any one stake.
Winner. £10 ind dog rug provided by club.
Runner-up. £5; third dog. £2: and two dogs
at £1 each.
