IN reply to your Advertisement hi the
Maitland Mercury of Wednesday, 10th
October, cautioning persons from purchasing or
collecting cattle branded LE, or D in diamond,
or UR,you having purchased the whole of those
brands from John Eales, Esq. ; with respect to
the LE brand I beg to inform you and all con-
cerned, that I purchased three years since iOO
head of cattle of the following brands, from
J. Eales, Esq , LE, or LE with anchor on lett
shoulder or neck, or LE with J or 4 on left
shoulder, also JJ or LO offside, all ear marked ;
and I request that no persons remove from the
neighbourhood of any of my stations situated
either in the Liverpool Plains, Gwydir, or
Maranoa Districts, any of the above brands
without my authority, or that of the superin-
tendent in charge. And, I beg further to
remark, that all cattle branded LE with anohor
on left shoulder or neck, or LE with J or 4 on
left shoulder, are exclusively my property.

Vf R. R. FAWCETT begs to inform the
vi public, poundkeepers, and parties living
in the neighbourhood of Liverpool Plains, that
he has PURCHASED all Mr John Allan's
HORSES, running in the neighbourhood of
Liverpool Plains and the surrounding districts,
with Right of all Brands ; and shall be much
obliged to any one having any running on their
runs, or knowing of any, acquainting bim of
them, at No. 8, Lower George-street, Sydney
or Glenridding, Singleton. 5594

PERSONS driving Stock, particularly sheep,
will not be permitted to feed ou the
Plains, nor yet to remain a night at a sheep
station, or to visit or remain a night at the
men's huts, or put cattle in the stock yard, with-
out the previous sanction of the undersigned ;
and persons found crossing the Plains with
eamB or cattle off the roads, will be impounded.

CAUTION to the public generally, but par-

and Coolly Camp that refused to pay Messrs.
Craig and Co their fair proportion of rent last
year : I have this day taken possession of said

Estate, and do hereby cantion all parties from
either grazing their cattle, cutting timber,
carrying away firewood, or passing through
driving of cattle, without consent, in writing,

Twenty Pounds Reward.
SUPPOSED to be Stolen from Mr. JOHN
v^ GILL'S Paddock, at Tamworth, on or
about the 1st May, 1855, A BAY HORSE, star
in the forehead, bang tail, small tip of white on
the off bind fetlock, very much goose rumped,
and near 16 hands high, branded TL ou the
near side of the neck.
If Stolen, the above reward will be paid on
conviction, and, if Strayed, the sum of £3 will
be paid on delivery of the said horse to Mr.
P. J. Coghlan, Storekeeper, Tamworth ; or the
undersigned.

the latter end of May or beginning of
June last, a CHESTNUT HORSE, small star in
forehead, branded EB conjoined near side under

the tail, apparently, from the crupper.
If Stolen, the above reward will be paid on
recovery of the horse and conviction of the
thief or thieves ; or Two Pounds, if strayed, on
delivery of said horse, or, for any information
that may lead to his recovery, on application to

River, on the 23rd September» 3 HORSES
of the following descriptions :
A Heavy Bay Draught Horse, branded GT near
shoulder or under the saddle, hind fetlock
white.
A Light Bay Mare, branded CK near shoulder,
in two places, under and over.
Bay Ponr, with hog mane and short tail,
branded S on the off shoulder.
These horses have gone towards Maitland,
where the pony is well known. Any person
delivering them to Mr Andrew Norrie, Inn-
keeper, Bell ford, near Black, Creek, or to the
undersigned, will receive the above reward.

WHEREAS a WORKING BULLOCK,of
the following description, was SUD-
DENLY MISSED from the paddock here in
August last ; and whereas circumstances attend-
ing tbe disappearance of said Bullock created
the belief that he was feloniously taken away
this is to give notice to constables and Others
that a reward of Five Pounds will be paid by
the undersigned for the apprehension of the
thief, or information which will lead to his
detection ; or if strayed, One Ponnd reward for
recovery of the bu lock. Description :-Large
yellow and white bullock, thick horns, branded

28 on off ribs and 7 off thigh, accustomed to
work in the pole, and is tbe same about which a
case was recently tried in the court at Maitland,
viz , Captain Smith v. John Gilmore.

Fifty Pounds Reward.
WHEREAS a Native Blaok, named
CHARLEY, employed by us as a shep-
herd at a station called Sam's Well,, near
Borah, in the District of Liverpool Plains, was
barbarously MURDERED on Friday evening,
the 28th of September, whilst tending his
flock in the bush ; and strong suspicion resting
upon William Wright (also then in our service,
and who has since absconded) as the perpetrator
ot the above deed, for whom a warrant has been
granted, we hereby offer a reward of Twenty
Pounds to any person who will lodge the said
William Wright in any of her Majesty's gaols,
and Fifty Ponnds on conviction of the mur-
derer of the said aboriginal Charley.
Description of the above named William
Wright:
Height, about 5 feet 7 inches.
Age, about 30 years.
Hair, light brown.
Complexion, sallow.
Sharp featured, and inclined to stoop in his
walk.
