MY DE PARK SUCCESSFUL
The meeting of Hyde Park and Park
Side was robbed of much interest through
tjhe absence of Dr. Gar Hone, their cham
pion, and' the southern team had little
difficulty in registering a win. ?
- Ron. Hone, promoted to first single, met
Don Turnbnll. The Hyde Park player
was, not at bis best, but he was able to
account for Hone, who is far better in
, doubles than singles.
F. Snttfield - paired with Ron Hone
against -DI P.' Turnbull and-H M. Smith
in a hard-hitting double. All four were
rather uncertain. Four service games were
lost, bnf- Turnbull did not drop his. Hyde
Park won 6-4, 6—5. Buttfield is a pro
mising player, end if he learns concentra
tion 'may go a long way.
Tranmere versus Glen Osmond on paper
appeared the most even match of the day,
tint Glen Osmond were too good. Tran
inere require another efficient player. This
is their fourth successive loss.

With H. E. Solomon at his top the
