Who Will Serve the King?
The State Recruiting Committee writes:
— Sgt. Galli's addresses at Broken Hill
have created enthusiasm, and Recruiting
Officer Robinson reports that he is sure of
great results at a later date. At Sooth
Broken Hill 200 eligibles were pre3ent'in
the large audience, and not a single inter
jection was heard during a lecture which
lasted for two hour3, and at the close
elicited long-continued applause. The
recruiting officer wrote that Broken Hill
was ringing with Sgt. Galli's name, and
that he was the favourite of the town.
At Petersburg the largest crowd that had
ever assembled at a meeting of this nature
filled the hall to overflowing, and Sgt.
Galli closely heH. the interest of fik
audience for an hour and three-quarters.
His observations upon internal strife, par
ticularly that of sectarianism, left a deep
impression. Recruiting Officer Rimes is
also certain that good results will follow.
Meetings arranged: — Monday, October
22, Marryatyrile (opposite post office), at
8 p.m. Chairman, Mr. J. J. Woods
(Vice-Chairnian Norwood and Kensington
Recruiting Committee).
