heavy with thunderstorms on northern tablelands.

—General Remarks.—
Tiie low-pressure wave indicated on yesterday's
chart to the south of the Diglit pa&scd south of
U3 dm ing the night, and is shown on to-day's
weather chart as a well-marked depression over
Tasmania. It is causing squally and showery
we;ither over Tasmania and Bass's Straits, and
cool southerly winds, with fine weather, over our
coastline. Inland over the interior it is warm,
cspe--'ii.lly in Queensland, and generally through
out Ihi: northern parts of Western Australia high
tenperarures are also reported. Fine and ccol
weather will -continue on our south coastline,
but inland settled warm weather is lifcoly.
