Model Likes
Quiet Life
Sydney.— Maide Hann, Sydney's most photo-
graphed model, who gave up her career to be married
two months ago, said today she was happier looking
after her doctor-husband's accounts in the pretty
north-shore suburb of Wahroonga.
'SOMETIMES I go for days
without speaking to any-
one outside,' she said, 'but I
would not take even the
smallest modelling job now. It
doesn't mix with married life.'
Wife of Dr. Eric Giblin, she
was making up the books when
interviewed.
'Acting as my husband's sec-
retary fills in a big part of my
day,' she said. 'I did a secre-
tarial course before I took up
modelling.
'For the first time in seven
years I'm living without being
in a continual whirl.
'Modelling is a very super-
ficial life, but my husband
would not have objected, had I
wished to carry on with it.'

Maide and her husband are
living with his parents until
their house is built. She likes
to read, sew, and do a little
cooking.
'It's very pleasant to go to
town and really look at the
shops instead of rushing in
madly to do a job and rushing
out again.'
