Pot-Pourri of
Dances
A CHARMING bal
''? let on the old,
old, ever new story of
Cinderella in two acts
most cleverly arranged
by Miss Phyllis
Lcitch, to the
charming music of
Weber's Invitation to
the Waltz, and Grieg's
Dance of the Moun
tain Gnomes, was the
principal number in a
pot pourri of dances
given by Miss Phyllis
.Leitch and pupils at
the Australia last
night in aid of the
South Adelaide Creche.
Miss Leitch took the
part of Cinderella, in
vesting it with much
charm, her dramatic
sense being as delight
ful as her dancing art.
Her sister, Peggy
Leitch, showed her
versatility in the
double part of Prince
Charming and the
Stepmother. Haidee
Gunn was the Fairy
Godmother, and the
Step Sisters, were
Consie Ure and Phyl
lis Tonkin. Fairies —

Gunn, Nancy Hooper,
Lorraine Ellis. Rats
— Mary Carter, Elsie

wide and versatile se
lection of solo dances
and ballets — English,
Greek, Russian, Span
ish, and Egyptian de
lightfully done by the
pupils, and all the
effective costumes de
signed by Miss Leitch.

accompaniments. Mrs.
