the late John Hunt Butcher, Esq., J. P., late of Parkhatch,
Surrey.
CUTBUSH—On the 23rd December, at Deloraine, Tasmania,
Louisa, the dearly loved child of George Back and Annie Cut-
bush, aged 3 months.

wife of the Rev. R. K. Ewing, aged 71 years.
FLEMING—On December 29th, at Hobart Town, Patrick,
Henry, fifth son of the late Maurice Fleming, of Oatlands, aged
22 years.
GOODWIN.—On 8th January, at Richmond, Rosa Annie, the
wife of R. C. Goodwin, aged 28.
GRITTEN.—On the 14th January, Mr. Henry Gritten artist, of
Fitzroy, Melbourne, in the 53rd year of his age, leaving a wife
and family to mourn his loss.

Peninsula, Emma, the wife of Mr. Thomas Johnson, after a
short but painful illness.
JONES.—On January 4, at Hobart Town, Mr F. B. Jones, aged
66 years.
LAWRENCE.—On the 26th December, at her residence Bruns-
wick-street, Fitzroy, Edith, the beloved wife of Dr Lawrence,
aged 36 years.
LITTLECHILD.—On 7th January, at Claremont, Glenorchy,
Alfred John, eldest son of H. W. Littlechild, aged 14.
LOVEJOY.—Suddenly, of apoplexy, at his residence, Deloraine,
Samuel John Lovejoy aged 32, the only son of Josian James
Lovejoy, of Harwood.
LAZARUS.—On 29th December, Alfred, youngest son of Elijah
Lazarus, of Hobart Town, aged 3 years and 8 months.
MARTIN—At Evandale, on Friday, 17th January the Rev.
Matthew Henry Martin aged 38 years.
MASON—On the 21st January, at Hobart Town, Sarah, the
beloved wife of George Mason, aged 43 years.
MOONEY.—Killed, on 11th January, at Cradoc Hill, Port
Cygnet, by falling of a tree, James Mooney, aged 48 years.
NABBS—On 11th January, at Hobart Town, John Nabbs, aged
49 years.
NAIRNE.—At Rubicon, on January 5th, Florence, the youngest
daughtler of James Nairne, aged 1 year and 3 weeks.
OZANNE.—At Guernsey, on 23rd November, Dr Joseph
Ozanne, formerly of Launceston.
PERRY.—On the 31st December, Elizabeth, wife of Mr George
Perry, and youngest, daughter of Mr George Giddins, King's
Meadows, aged 21 years.
PRATT.—On 22nd January, at Sorell, Hannah Louisa, only
daughter of Josiah Courtney and Hannah Pratt.
RISBY—On 10th January, at Hobart Town, Thomas Risby,
aged 81.
RILEY.—On December 17th, at Bream Creek, Ann, the beloved
wife of Thos. Riley sen., aged 98 years.
SHORT—At Hobart Town, William Short, aged 97.
STRODE—On 12th January at her residence, Punt Road, Rich-
mond, Victoria, Mary Margaret Emma, the beloved wife of
Thomas Strode, formerly proprietor of the Port Phillip Gazette
the first, legalised newspaper printed in Melbourne aged 56
years.
TIFFIN.—On 9th January, at Sydney, Charles Tiffin, Esq., late
of Brisbane, Queensland.
WESTON—At Hythe, Longford, on January 14th, Arthur,
Dalias, infant son of Edward and K. M. Weston, aged five
months.
WILSON.—At his residence, Balfour-street, on Sunday, 29th
December, Mr Thomas Wilson, aged 59 years.
WELLS—On 31st December, at Kempton, Edith Isabel, only
daughter of Mr. Thomas A. Wells, aged 1 year and 8 months.
