the- 27th March, last. This wheat -(Tuscan) was
crown by Mr John Frame, of Burnbank, Mount
Barker, and oU bushels of it were sold in Adelaide
at 103. per bushel, through Mr. Griflih Cant, to
Messrs. IV . Bayles k Co., of Melbourne, bv whom
it was entered for exhibition. -A further quantity
was sold at the same price, through the same
broker, to Messrs. John Dunn & Son. We men
tion this- as proving that the prize wia not a small
sample got up especially for exhibition, but part of
a Iarce lot set into town for sale. Tlie same wheat
which thus took the first prize at Melbourne took
the second prize at Adelaide on the 21st of Feb
ruary; and it is rather singulartbat, -while it was
there reported as having weighed only 67i lbs. to
I the bushel, its weight in Melbourne was 08} lbs.
