OUTLAWING WAR.
THE AMERICAN OFFER.
TOO VALUABLE TO BE DIS
REGARDED.
LONDON. April 36.
Sir Austen Chamberlain, speaking to-
night at the dinner at Birmingham of the
Anglo-French Society, referred to the
outlawry of war. He said The Govern-
ment would look with particular favor
upon a proposal of that bind from the
United States. Such a suggestion from
a nation which hitherto had stood aloof
from fueh questions was too valuable not
to be regarded with favor.
