thenticated by the name and address of the sen-
der, and are inserted in "The Advertiser,"
"The Express," and "The Chronicle," at a single
charge of Two Shillings and Sixpence each
when not exceeding five lines; over five lines
Sixpence per line.
BIRTHS.
DORSETT.—On the 27th January, at Tait-ter-
race, Croydon, the wife of Charles A. Dorsett —
a son.
WRIGHT.—On the 28th January, at Phillis-
street, Maylands, the wife of James Wright, of a
daughter.

Hill-street, North Adelaide, the wife of Keith D.

WATSON —LANGLEY. —On the 1st January, at
Hindmarsh Valley, in the house of Mr. Jonas Wat-
son, by the Rev. Penry Jones, George Edward,
son of Jonas Watson, to Alison, daughter of
Charles Langley, Nangkita.
HARVEY —RICKABY. —On the 28th January, at
the residence of the bride's parents, by the Rev.
J. Raymont, John Benjamin, third surviving son
of Mr. Chas. Harvey, N.Z., late of Wauraltie, to
Fannay Parnell, fifth daughter of Mr. Thos.
Rickaby, Minlaton.
EDSON —RICKABY. —On the 28th January, at
the residence of the bride's parents, by the Rev.
J. Raymont, Arthur Charles, youngest son of Mr.
Chas. Edson, Port Victoria, to Elizabeth S.
(Bessie), fourth daughter of Mr. Thos. Rickaby,
Minlaton.
DEATHS.
RICHARDSON.—On the 30th January, at the resi-
dence of his son, Thomas Richardson, Hutt-street,
Joseph Richardson, father of Thos. Joseph and W.
H. Richardson, of this city, aged 83 years.
ELIX.—On the 30th January, Frederick Otto,
beloved infant son of T. H. and E. E. Elix,
Sydenham-road, Norwood, aged 5 months. Asleep
in Jesus.
CORNICK.—On January 30, at Edward-street,
Norwood, James Charles Cornick, late of Glenelg,
in his 72nd year. A colonist of over 50 years.
BOWMAN.—On the 30th January, at "Lisarda,"
Hill-street, North Adelaide, Dorothy, the infant
daughter of Keith and Margaret Bowman.

MERRETT.—In loving memory of our dear son
Douglas, who died at Wallaroo, January 31, 1899.

the dearly beloved child of Wesley and E. Golds-
worthy, of Matta Flat, Wallaroo Mines, who died

She is safe from all sin and care.
HART.—In loving memory of Richard James
Hart, sen., dearly beloved husband of Martha
Hart, of Prospect, who departed this life January
31, 1902.
A precious one from us is gone,
A voice we loved is stilled;
A place is vacant in our home,
That never can be filled.
Released from sorrow, sin, and pain,
And freed from every care;
By angels' hands to heaven conveyed,
To rest for ever there.
