PT. ADELAIDE POLICE
Before Messrs. F.A. Elix and W.H.
Gilbert:—
Charged with the theft of a hen,
valued at 14/, Albert Brown, of Cowie
street, Ethelton, and George Thomas
Leeson, of Castle street, Glanville, were
found guilty and sentenced t0 two
months' imprisonment.
It was stated in evidence that Brown
had entered the premises of a poultry
farmer, and emerged with a fowl under
his arm. Leeson had kept watch out
side. Both men were under observation.
The poultry farmer said that he had
lost about 100 fowls in a similar manner.
