ROMANCE OF MAN LOST
FROM PLANE
£2,000 For Fiancee In Will
Made Shortly Before Death
ESSEN, January 11.
It has been revealed that Max Wen
ner, a wealthy Englishman who disap-
peared from the Cologne-Brussels air
liner on January 4, in his will, made
shortly before his death, left Fraulein
Olga Bucken-ehultz, 34, living at Kup
ferdreh, £2,000 "in case anything should
happen to me before our marriage.*'
A brother of Wenner interviewed
Fraulein Bucksenschultz, who told a
story of a friendship culminating in an
engagement. She was secretary to the
Swedish Consul-General at Duren
when she met Wenner at winter sports
in Switzerland. She had doubts whe
ther a German woman should link her
life with an Englishman, but during
j Wenner'.s last visit to Essen on Decem
jber 30 she promised to marry him.
. Wenner's brothers and sisters were
i cognisant of the arrangement and
agreed.
1 Wenner's body was found yesterday.
