RIFLE TRAINING.
Use of Anti-tank Gun.
The rifle club training arranged by the
National Rifle Asoclation of Western Aus
tralia was continued tby a number o0 clubs
over the week-end. On Saturday afternoon
Perth. East Perth and Mnes-Claremont held
parades at the Swanbourne range. Major P.
L Webster, chairman of the associatton,. was
Present.
The Perth club carried out patrol work.
East Perth and Mines-Claremont held small
bore shooting practiee of a eervice nature.
and It is proposed to continue these prac
tices next Saturday. Leederville held a par
ade on the Leederville Oval on Sunday morn
ing when an Instructional lecture on the
anti-tank gun was given by Warrant .OfBcer
H. White. of the Guildford training school.
The various parts of the anti-tank gun and
its action were explained. The gun weighs
