Melbourne, January 3.
Flour, £9 Ss. to £9 7s. 6d. In wheat 590 bagd sold up
to 4s. 2jd. for prime ; privately 2,000 was sold at
4s. 2id. f.oJj. Maize is firm at 4s. 6d. There has
beea a fair business in suoars : 6,479 b2»3 and
pockets of Mauritius was disposed of at £29 to £29
15s. ; for yellows and up to £33 for whites ; 637
pockets F=ji realized £23 10s.; 2,000 bags China at
£26 15s. to £31 15s.; Queensland sugars at current
rates. Teas, lid. to Is. Id. Currants, 5jd, Kerosine
is in better request.

BreadstuSs are quiet. At the wool sales to-day
greasy brought up to 10?d. per lb., and wished
fleece up to Is. 6jd.
