Sir;-Kindly allow me a word or two j
I ouv thu subject and to support a "Dear
j Relative's" letter in your issue, of
September ll. .Now is the time for the
F.E.D. and F.A. to get a little bit of
their own back. I am more than sur
? prised to know that thé W.I.U. of A.
I delegates were admitted to the meet-
ing last week to ask. for the F.E.D.'s
co-operation and support in their cam-
paign. Surely our members have not
forgotten all the nice names we were
I called some time ago when the W.I.U.
was a little bit stronger than it is now.
: But now they are just about on their
I last leçs they are crawling to the
enginedrivers to assist them in their
fight. Against what? I ask. We have
. got quite^ enough to do- to manage our
own affairs without interfering with
this unregistered body. The "red'rag"
element made a boast some time ago
that they would smash the then
A.M.A., and I say let'them have their
wish gratified. The sooner we have
one registered Jbbdy. governing all-un-
derground work the better for all con-
cerned,- and perhaps it will lead to
industrial peace once more in Broken
Hill. I appeal to every member of
the F.E.D. to be present at our next
I meeting to deal with this subject, to
i stand on their "dig,"' and turn this
crowd down with a big bump, which
they justly deserve. x> I
