THE ADELAIDE UNEMPLOYED.

ADELAIDE, Saturday.
A deputation consisting ot three
Labor leaders, M'Kay, Stewart, and
McCormick, waited on the Trades and
Labor Council to ask the members to
consider the question of relieving the
distress among the unemployed. The
members expressed their disapproval of
the refusal of the unemployed to accept
the^ Government terms in regard to
stonebreaking, add the violent utter-
ances, by certain of the unemployed
speakers -were also condemned. It
was decided to appoint more suitable
delegates to represent the case of the
unemployed, whom the council would
then introduce to the Government.
