LINDSAY.— On the 3rd December, at Bridge
street, Kensington, the wife of David Lindsay, of a
son.

DEW—HELPS.— On the 3rd December, at Pres-
ton House, Semaphore, by the Rev. J. W. Bamber,
Frank Dew, of Salisbury, to Miss Eliza Ann Helps,
eldest daughter of Mr. John Helps, of Salisbury.
INNES—CLIFTON.—On the 5th November, at
Christ Church, South Yarra, Melbourne, by Rev. A.
V. Green, Sydney Evelyn, son of the late Hon. F.
M. Innes, President of Legislative Council, Tas-
mania, to Ada Marian, youngest daughter of W.C.
Clifton, Esq., Lane-End, Bucks, England.
HAINS-MOSS.— On the 26th November, at the
residence of the bride's brother, Joel Moss, Esq.,
Trinity-street, College Town, by the Rev. A. T.
Boas, Lewis Hains, youngest son of Charles Hains.
Port Adelaide, to Rachel, youngest daughter of
Mrs. B, Benjamin, Kent Town. No cards. Sydney

DEATHS.
WHITING.— On the 30th November, at his resi
dence, Tipara, George Whiting, late of Dry Creek,
in the 80th year of his age.
LINN.— On the 4th December, at her residence,
Ann-street, Hindmarsh, Eliza, relict of the late
Robert Linn, in her 75th year. A colonist of 44
years.
YOUNG.— On the 4th December, at her residence,
Sturt Bay, Yorke's Peninsula, of heart disease and
dropsy, Sarah, relict of the late Henry Kernet
Young, aged 52 years.
FARROW.— On the 3rd December, at Hope Farm,
Finniss Point, of pneumonia, Charles Farrow, aged
48 years ; a colonist of 40 years. Much respected by
all who knew him.
BAKER.— On the 4th December, at her resi
dence, Gilles-street, Martha Theresa, the beloved
wife of James Baker, after a long and painful ill
ness, aged 46 years. Her end was peace.
