RUSSIANS .FLOCKING HOME.
Two from N.Z. Disappointed.
LONDON, Aug. 16.-The "Star" re
ports that two disillusioned goldminers
left for Australia on the.Ormonde. They
are M. Vorcovaky, a Russian, and his son,
who was born in Australia. Hearing that
goldmining engineers were needed in
Russia they went to England, but were
refused vises by the Russian Consulate on
the ground that so many Russians were
trying to .return home that it would take
aix months to secure a vise.
Diffculties arose owing to the Vorcov
aky's lack of money. The Orient line
is taking back the father and the son
is paying his own passage. They will
return to gold-washig in New Zealand
from which they came.
