FUNERALS.
The Late Mrs. D. M. Dix.
The funeral of the late Mrs. Doris Mary Dix,
beloved wife of Mr. Harry Java Dix, of 64
Lawler-street, Subiaco, took place in the Metho
dist portion of the Karrakatta Cemetery yester
day morning in the presence of a large gather
ing of friends, the Rev. Raymond Hocking
ofhiciating at the graveside. The late Mrs. Dix.
who was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Foster,
had spent the" whole of her life in Subiaco,
where she was very well known and highly
respected. She leaves a family of three young
children. The chief mourners were Mr. H. J.
Dix (widower), Mr. and Mrs. M. Foster (father
and mother), Ruby and Hazel Foster (sisters),
Mrs. L Rowlands (aunt). The pall-bearers were
Iessrs. B. M. Dix, S. S. Dyson, B. Holland,
A. G. Whittaker, E. J. Negue and G. Beres
ford.
