I Moir and Owen were detailed by; the ¡

gow) to-day. He said the Dutch and !
Portugese Governments had been'
asked bv wireless to arrange for a!
search to be made between. Koepang j
and Atamboea and to advise the Com-
monwealth of any trace of thc machine
having passed any intermediate habita-,
rion. Information is also sought as to
the length of time the machine was in
sight at Koepang while flying on the
north north-easterly course.
The Vickers Coy. and the Shell Coy.
have agreed to charter a Q A'N T A S
DH50 Jupiter engined plane that
was specially'fitted with. wireless dur-
ing the search fdr. the Kookaburra and
arrangements have been-made for this
machine lo- proceed imihjediately to.
Darwin. Captain Grosvenor, who is
on a trans-Australian fight, has been
asked lo remain at Wyndham" pending
further instructions in .. order that he
*may work in close co-operation with
the Q.A.N.T.A.S. plane.
