Hospital, caused by injuries received by explo-
sion of the boiler on board the Moolgewanke,
Robert Rust, aged 22 years, late of Port Elliot.

laide, after a short painful illness, Sarah, eldest
daughter of Andrew Scott, Stirling East, aged 27
years.
SHAKESPEARE.—On the 2nd August, at
Belle Vue, South-terrace, Herbert James, the
third and youngest son of W. and J. A. Shakes-
peare, by dropsy after scarlatina, aged two
years and eight months.
SHEARING.—On the 8th August, at Hind-
marsh, Mrs. G. Shearing, sen., aged 71 years.
SKIPWORTH.— On the 12th July, at Skip-
worth House, Green's Plains, Julihannah Maria,
fourth daughter of G. and E. Skipworth, aged
two years and six weeks. She sleeps in Jesus.
SMITH.— On the 24th July, after a painful

standing — much respected.
THWAITES.— On the 17th July, at his resi-
dence, near Morialta, Frederick Jas. Thwaites,
in the 59th year of his age, deeply regretted.
WALKER.— On the 29th July, Hester Haldan,
the beloved wife of John A. Walker, of Lefevre's
Peninsula, in her 54th year, deeply regretted by
all who knew her. A colonist of 34 years.
WILLIAMS.—On the 18th July, at Enfield,
Alice Jane, the beloved daughter of John and
Martha Williams, age nine years and seven
months.
WILLIAMSON.—On the 8th July, at the
residence of his son-in-law, Thomas Yard, River
Light, near Stockport, George Williamson, in
the 71st year of his age, and father of William
