Hauser—Franklin
St. Paul's Church of England, Pulteney
street, city, was artistically decorated with
beautiful blossoms in pale pink tonings for
the wedding of Thelma, only daughter of Mr.
and Mis. H. V. Franklin. Whaddon road!
Meldreth Park, to Reginald, son of Mr and
Mrs. L. S. Hauser, or Burnham-on-Sea. Eng-
land. on Saturday. March 2.
The bride entered the church vith her
father, and was preceded by the choir to
the strain of "The Voice That Breathed O'er
Eden." Tbe bride wore a beautiful frock
of rich Ivory ring velvet cut on slim lines
to the knees, with the full skirt extending
to form a graceful train. The tight-fitting
sleeves were adorned with tiny velvet buttons
and loops from elbow to wrist, with a smart
opening at the shoulder. The long Honiton
lace veil was held to her head with a deli-
cate band and dainty sprays of orange blos-
som, and fell in soft, misty folds over her
wedding gown. A sheaf of mixed flowers,
water lilies, and tiny trailing buds in white
with a tinge of pale pink was carried.
The bridesmaids, Miss Audrey McLaughlin
and Miss Iris Franklin (cousin of the bride)
were clad alike in Lorraine Lee ring velvet.
Their frocks were fashioned on similar lines
to that of the bride, and were trimmed
with tiny buttons and loops. Their skirts
swept into short trains. Their matching hats
were of velvet. They were of the same shade
and trimmed with dainty sprays. Pale pink
sheafs with delicate trailers to tone were
carried. Canon Hewgill performed the cere-
mony, assisted by Canon Bleby. Mr. Ronald
Franklin (brother of the bride) was best man.
Mr. William Angera was groomsman.
A reception was held at the Arcadia. The
tables were decorated with pale pink flowers.
Mrs. A. Madge rendered "For You Alone"
and "Because."
Mrs H. V. Franklin wore a windswept silk
frock in royal blue, patterned in white with
a swagger coat to tone. Her hat was a navy
blue French straw. She carried a dainty
posy of pale pink and blue flowers. Mrs
F H. Hauser wore a floral dress in autumn
shades, with hat and posy to tone.
Mrs Reginald Hauser looked attractive as
she left the reception clad in a frock of ice
blue. The cowl neck was relieved with dia-
mante clips. The skirt was cut on slim lines.
A kasha coat in the same shade and black
velvet hat completed the toilette.
