Concert At Adelaide
Women's Club
There was a large gathering at the
Adelaide Women's Club, Peel street, on
Saturday night, when at an evening
under the auspices of the Musical As-
sociation cf South Australia, a pro
gramme arranged by Madame Regi
nald Quesnel was enjoyed. Miss Mar
gery Walsh, whose lyric soprano was
highly commended by Dame Neilte
Melba, sang a delightful number xrtth
flute obbligato by Miss Constance
Pether. Mr. Charles Buttrose, a young
dramatic tenor, was heard to advan-
tage in "O Souverain O Juge."' Miss
Mary Edson sang brilliantly "Ritorna
Vincilor.*1 Other performers included
Misses Margery Hartley and Rita
Nelson 'vocalists'! and Mr. Clyde
OTJea and Mr. Noel Stephens. In
strumentalists included Mrs. Edgar
Savage, Miss Jessica Dim and Miss
Constance Pether. Mr. Mates is the
secretary of she MASA.
