Headache, Skia Eruptions, Pim-
ples on the Face, Giddiness,
Feverishness, or Feverish Cold,
Mental Depression, Want of
Appetite, Constipation, Vomiting,
Thirst, &0; and to remove tibe
effeets of errors in eating and
drinking. It is invaluable to
those who are Fagged, Weary, or
Worn Out, or anyone whose
duties require them to undergo
Mental or Unnatural Excitement
or Strain. If its great value in
keeping the body in health were
universally known, no family
would be without it.
THOUSANDS OF MILES US INDIA
" For many years I have found Eire's j
FBUTT SA.LT of the utmost value in the j
hot and dry seasons, also in the monsoons. :
I have travelled some thousands of miles in j
India during the last thirteen years, and in
_ all the various changes of climate I have j
found ENO'6 FBUIT SALT the most refreshing beverage I could get, especially alter long, heavy '
marches, and other fatiguing duties of late to which the British s jldier has been exposed. I have
always been able to keep a supply of ENO'S FEUIT SALT on hand, and could obtain it in most
stations. My dear wife, during her travail, found it to be the most useful thing that could be
obtained. Many others here have found ENO'S FRUIT SAIT better than any beverage yet in the i
Indian Market. I am, yours, &c., A WARDER, Central Military Prison, Poonan, Bombay,
January 30th, 1884. To Mr. J. C. ENO."
HOT COUNTRIES.-ACHttTY OF STOMACH, BILIOUSNESS, FEVERS.
" Though unasked by Mr. ENO, or anyone interested in the manufacture of FRUIT SALT
(or rather the Crystallised Salts of various fruits), I nevertheless take great pleasure in saying
that I have personally used this remedy, and know it not alone to be excellent, hut really
invaluable. Especially must this be so in the hot countries of the East, where Acidity of the
Stomach, Biliousness, and Fevers are so common.-J. M. PEEBLES, M.D., author of Around the ]
World, Travels in Polynesia, China, India, Arabia, Egypt, Ac., &c.
SUDDEN CHANGES OF WEATHER, ANY EMERGENCY, INFLUENZA, FEVERISH ]
COLDS.-DRAWING AN OVERDRAFT ON THE BANK OF LIFE.
Late hours, fagged, unnatural excitement, breathing impure air, too rich food, alcoholic drink,
gouty, rheumatic, and other blood poisons, biliousness, sick headache, skin eruptions, pimples on j
the face, want of appetite, sourness of stomach, &c., use ENO'S Faun- SALT. It is pleasant,
cooling, health-giving, refreshing and invigorating. You cannot overstate its great value in
keeping the blood pure and free from disease.
LONDON AND NORTH-WESTERN RAILWAY,
PERMANENT WAT DEPARTMENT,
WHALBT BELÜGE STATION, Dee. 30,1881,
"Sir,-I beg to inform yon that I have derived great benefit from your valuable FBUIT SALT j
after suffering from severe headache and disordered stomach.-Yours truly, 'VERITAS.' "
A GENERAL OFFICER,
Writing from Ascot on January 2nd, 1886, says: "Blessings cu your FBUIT SALT ! I trust it i
not profane to say so, but, in common parlance, I swear by it. There stands the bottle on the
chimney-piece of my sanctum-my little idol !-at home my household god, abroad my vade
mécnm. Think not this the rhapsody of a hypochondriac; no, it only the outpouring of a grateful
heart. The fact is I am, in common I daresay with numerous old fellows of my age (67) now and
again troubled with a troublesome liver ; no sooner, however, do I use your cheery remedy than
exit pain, and "Richard is himself again." So highly do lvalue your composition that, when
taking it, I grudge even the little sediment that will always remain at the bottom of the glass. I
give, therefore, the following advice to those wise persons who have learnt to appreciate its
inestimable benefits :
When ENO'S SALT betimes yon take, j But drain the dregs, and lick the cup,
No waste of this Elixir make, | Of this the perfect Pick-me-up."
CAUTION.-Legal rights are protected in every civilised country. Read the following:-"In j
the Supreme Court of Sydney (N.S.W.) an appeal from the decree of Sir W. Manning
perpetually restraining the Defendant (Hogg) from selling a fraudulent imitation of ENO'S :
FBUIT SALT, and giving heavy damages to the Plaintiff, has, after a most exhaustive trial of ¡
two days' duration, been unanimously dismissed with costa.-Sydnvu Morning Herald, Nov-
ember 26th, 1885. 1
Examine each bottle and see that the capsule is marked "ENO'S FRUIT SALT." Without it 1
you have been imposed on by a worthless imitation. Sold by all chemists.

"Ms G. T. CONGREVE'S TREATMENT OF CONSUMPTION AND OTHES CHEST DISEASES j
continues to bo made a great blessing to sufferers far and wide, in every part of the kingdom.
"The world and we ourselves owe him a debt of gratitude. Not long since we placed a yoong
lady tinder his care, who has recovered her health, and we need only point te the cases (Mr j
Congreve is publishing one every week), many of which had been given np as past all nope.
" Thereoau be no doubt that for Consumption and other chest complaints, Mr Congreve is a
specialist of the first order, and stands unrivalled. Certainly there has bees no other discovery
in medical science from which the consumptive patient m«vy gather so much hope as from his.
"The one hundred and thirty-three cooee which are recorded in Mr Congreve's book are
a most c-ravincing testimony; but what has been long a marvel are the cases ot care which have j
been published for several years past in the weekly journals (our own included) one every week"

The author (Mr Congreve, of Coombe Lodge, Peckham, London), has been urgently entreated !

THE objects of this Company are-first Jt»
obtain a reasonable profit by buying Fat
Stock at the cheapest and most advantageous
rates (Shareholders willing to sell at these rates
to have the preference) and selling the carcases
wholesale to butchers and others.
Secondly, to usure a certain opening for the
disposal of Stock without being compelled, w is
now frequently the case, to sacrifice them in the
wholesale market owing to combination«
amount present purchasers.
Thirdly, to reduce the present high retail
prices of meat, which are altogether out of pro-
portion to the wholesale prices now given, andi
thus, while securing a reasonable profit to fiber
producer, also insure fair rates to the consumer.
These desirable ends will doubtless be effecieS
by the Company, which intends io deliver meat
promptly and reasonably to traders and others.
The extensive Harbour Work, BaUway Syndi-
cates, &c.leading to alarge influx of population^:
will create a rapicuy-increosing demand-neaw
the promoters select the present time as tb»
most opportune of inaugurating their scheme.
It is proposed, in the first instance, to enter
into the business in Perth and Fremantle as
carcase salesmen only, this being considered the
most desirable Une, as it would very much
simplify the business, and would obviate the
necessity of establishments in the towns. It is
believed that a very burge trade will be estab-
lished. Any new butchers starting would be
sure to buy of the Company in preference to
incurring the expense of establishing slaughter-
houses of their own.
It is confidently expected that this movement
will have a most beneficial eff ect on the meat
trade. Further, an Organization of tins sorb
could induce the steamers to reduce freights ,and
insure proper treatment of Stock during transit;
also action could be taken to expedite the open-
ing up of the overland Stock route, by urging
the Government to take immediate steps to
furnish a permanent water-supply thereon.
It is proposed to have the undertaking in
operation before the close of the present year
Should it be found desirable to give an impe-
tus to the operations of the Company, it is afc
the discretion of the directors to support small
retail dealers. This is not looked upon as »
probable contingency, it being expected that
many small traders will start when they have
the certainty of a regular supply of meat
delivered in the carease at their doors.
A permanent Board of Directors will be
eventually chosen by the Shareholders.
The share-list will close on the first of October
next.

cation for Shares, the aggregate
