WINDEYER and GISBORNE.
Eliza Drill. (7 years,) assigned to Mr. Robert
Eiglin, publican, Liverpool street, was charged
with stealing about half a pint of brandy, the
property of her master. It appeared that on Fr-
iday morning whilst her mistress was in the parlour
prisoner slipped round the bar counter, and drew
off the brandy into a ginger beer bottle. Her
mistress hearing the noise went forward and de
tected her. Sentenced - six months to the third-
class and to be returned. to service.

Michael Cavendish, (7 years,) assigned to Mr
David Foley, Pittwater, was charged with
assaulting James Lysalt another assigned servant
of Mr. Foley. The Bench considered that he was
guilty, but in consequence of his having been in
custody eight or ten days and, kept during that
time on bread and water, he was discharged.

Robinson, York street was charged with absenting
himself from service. It appeared he had been
bound apprentice to Robinson in the year 1832
since.that time he had been found board and lod
ging and instructed his trade as a Cooper, but
now findling that his seriiies were becoming of
