'A WlBTCTH Australia.-Generally fine and clear
throughout, with light clouds in the S.W. Light
rain has fallen at a few places in the tropics. "Winds
generally between S. and E.
ResTS AweTRAtiA.-Cloudy to dull in the S. and
E. Elsewhere fine, with light scattered clouds.
. Light to moderate W. to S.W. winds, but strong on
the coast. Very light rain recorded on the SE.
coast.
New South Wales. Generally fine and clear,
but cloudy at scattered places. Light rain recorded
in the K. Variable winds.
Queensland Generally fine but cloudy, but over-
cast at many places. Thunderstorms, with variable
winds, recorded at a large number of stations.
