Business -was dull in Roma-street to-day.
Oaten chaff from New South Wales was in
good supply, but there were only two saloi
of 7s. 6d. and 5s. lOd. Prime lucerne chaff
was in demand, and a good heavy line sold
at Ss. 6d. Other sales were 8e. 2d. to 5s. 6d.
Mixed chaff realised 5s. 8d. to 4s. One very
good line cf English potatoes realised 10s.
6d.; other clearances were 9s. 4d. to Ss. 4-L
No maize -was -sold, offers of 3s. 5id. being
refused. Wheat met with poor demand, sales
being at 5s. 3d. to 4s. lOd. Lucerne hay
went at 6s.. while offeres of 3s. to 2s. 9d.
?were declined for sweet potatoes. The de
mand for pumpkins was poor, offers of 4s.
to 2s. beinr declined.
