December 18th.—Thomas Meekins, drunk
and creating disturbance in the streets
fined 5s.
19th—Andrew Robertson, drunk and creat-
ing a disturbance in the streets ; fined 5s.
21st—William Stewart, drunk and using
profane language in the streets ; fined 10s ;
imprisoned 14 days in default.
22nd—John Doggett; drunk, disorderly,
and resisting police; fined £1. Elliot
Bolton, refusing to aid police ; fined 5s.
26th—John Brodigan, t.l., drunk and creat-
ing a disturbance; fined 5s....William
Ward, using-obscene language in the streets ;
fined 10s.
26th—John Handley, drunk in the streets ;
fined 5s.Thomas Gaisford, t.l., ditto,
fined 5s....Patrick Jordan, t.l, ditto,
fined 5s.........John Field, t.l, drunk and using
profane language; fined 5s.Edward

29th—Duyer (aboriginal native) deserting
the flock of sheep in his charge, thereby
causing considerable damage to the owner,
Mr Thomas Williams, from native dogs;
sentenced to three months hard labor.
31st—John Tracy, c.p., stealing a ham the
property of Mr Dyett, and selling the same ;
committed to Quarter Sessions for trial.
James Craig, stealing a waistcoat the pro-
perty of H. Holloway ; committed for trial.
