Waterloo Inn and Stores, Lake Bathurst.
T [IE undersigned wishes to make
known to the public generally, and more par
ticularly to the residents and families in the southern
districts, that he intends opening on the first day of
July next, for public accommodation, those well.
known and commodious premises for some years
occupied by Mr. J. Cottington, to be known as the
Waterloo Inn, and trusts, by keeping none but
supplies of the very beat description, to give general
satisfaction.
Good stabling, the very best forage, and an atten
tive groom may always be relied on.
The great convenience of an inn in this spot,
being twenty miles from Bungonia, about the same
from the Long Swamp, and thirty from Peter's, at
Marulan, on the high road to Queanbeyan, Maneroo,
&c., &c., needs no remark.

Doissier Estate.-Nineteen Splendid Sub
urban Allotments at the Glebe, near Sydney.
T EIE.survey, of this' valuable Property
is now completed, and will be submitted to
public competition by the AUSTRALIAN AUC
TION COMPANY, at their New Mart, in George.
street, on SATURDAY, the 23rd May, 1840, at
Twelve o'clock.
In consequence of the high estimation in which
portions of land in this neighbourhood :are held
which are suited for the erection of Villas, the small
genteel 'Box; &c., or for the purpose of the Market
Garden, the proprietor has, after long consideration,
yielded' to the proposition of subdividing it in such
manner that persons of various classes may have the
opportunity of possessing a share of this valuable
and truly pleasant spot.
It is almost needless to state that these allotments
are within an agreeable walking distance even for
ladies, and that, for the most part, along a good
trod foot-path. The cheerfdlness and beauty of the
view are quite proverbial. The water frontage to
Blackwattle Cove' being much sought after, the
surveyor has brought several of the allotments down
to it, while others will have the advantage of con
siderable frontages to the main glebe road.
On the whole, it may be said that the present is a
most excellent opportunity for the merchant, the man
of family, gentlemen in offices, successful tradesmen,
and persons desirous of investing capital with safety,
to come forward and purchase a pretty sp ot, of which
there can be but one opinion, that it will rapidly rise
in value, as it is so near town, and in a highly res
pectable neighbourhood. Already there are the
residences and grounds of Dr. Bowman, Mrs. Bet a,
Mr. Hirst, Mr. M'Gaa, Mr. Foss, Captain -,
Mr. O'Reilly, Mr. George Allen, Mr. Weller, and
Mr. Younger.
Lot 1. Situate on the east side of the glebe road,
to which it has a 'frontage' of 130 feet, and depth
371 feet, it adjoins Mr. Miller's estate on the north,
lot 2 on the east, and lot 3 ou the south.
Lot 2. Is bounded on the west by lot 1, on the
north by Mr. Miller's estate 244 feet, has a frontage
of 131 feet to the central cross road, and on the
south by lot 4 372 feet. This lot would form an
admirable addition to lot 1.
Lot 3. Has the same frontage-to the glebe road as
lot 1 it is an excellent corner allotment, as it is
bounded on the south by 248 feet of the main en
trance road to all the other allotments; it falls back
to lot 4 on the east, and is bounded by lot I on the
north.
Lot 4. Is also a good corner allotmeLt; it has a
frontage of about 248 feet to the main entrance road
on the south, to the central closs road 131 feet on
the east; is bounded by lot 2 on 'the north, and lot
3 on the west. This lot would form a valuable ad
dition to lot 3, as must be apparent to an intending
purchaser-it would be cut up admirably into small
convenient allotments.
Lot 5. Is also a first-rate corner allotment; it has
the same frontage as lots I and 3, has 249 feet
frontage to the main entrance road, falls back to lot
6 on the east side,' and is bounded by lot 7 on the
south.
Lot 6. At the rear-or on the east of lot 5, has a
frontage on the north of about 249 feet to the main
entrance road, on.the east to the central cross road
of 131 feet, and on the south by lot 7. This would
also form a fine addition to lot 5, and when united
would cut up admirably.
Lot 7. Has the same frontage as lots 1, 3, and 5;
is bounded by Mrs. Bett' valuable property on the
south about 500 feet, which is fenced ; it falls back
to lot 8 on the east, and is bounded by lots 6 and 5
on the north.
N.B.-Lots 1, 3, 5, and 7, embracing the whole
frontage of the estate to 'the glebe road, are all
first-rate allotments for villa residences. They are
opposite Mr. George Allen's pleasant lawn and
grounds, and command pretty views.
Lot 8. At 'the rear or on the east of lot 7; is
bounded on the south by. a continuation of Mrs.
Betis's estate, being a line of fence about 460 feet,
includes the principal part of a garden, and falls
back to Blackwattle Cove; and on the north it is
bounded by lot 9 about 468 feet., It hasan entrance.
to the central cross road, near which point there is a
commanding site for a villa residence. This, with
lot 7, would form a fine allotment.
Lot 9. Has a frontage to the central cross road of
138 feet, to the west; is bounded by lot 8 on the
south, falls back to Blackwattle.Cove, includes a
large piece of the above-mentioned garden, has the
advantage, on the .north, of a channel for the' en-'
trance of a boat, and is bounded on that side' by lot
10. On this is a. capital situation for a house.
This and lot 8 would make together a pretty allot
ment, and have a spacious garden.
Lot 10. A beautiful lot fur building on; it has a
frontage of 186 feet on the west; leading from the
intended public landing place; is bounded on the
north by lot 11 about 412 feet, has a frontage to the
Blackwattle Cove on the 'east, and is bounded on
the south by lot 9.
Lot 11. Has a frontage of 290 feet on the west to
the same road; is bounded on the west by lot 12
about 227 feet, by Blackwattle Cove on the east,
and lot 10 on the south. 'This, also, is admirable.
building ground, and includes a wvell of water.
Lot 12. Has a frontage on the west of 223 feet to
the same road; is bounded on the north by lot 13
about 174 feet, on the east by Black wattle Cove, 'and
on the south by lot 11. This lot has anm extensive
frontsge to Blackwattle Cove, and a good site for
buildiog.
Lot 13. A valuable corner or point allotment; has
a frontage on the west of about 297'feet to the same
road, is bounded on the south by lot 12, and on the
north-east by an extensive frontage to Blackwattle
Cove, reaching to the intended landing place. There
is also a second excellent point on It for a wharf.
Lot 14i. A good corner or point allotment; has a
frontage to the east of about 288 feet to the same
read; is bounded on the west by lot 16 about 180
feet, aid ota 'the north by the pleasant shore of
Rozelle Bay, and 'extends to the intended public
landing place.
Lot 16. Has a frontage on the east of about 224'
feet to the same road; ax bounded oin the west by lot
16 about 363 feet, on the north by Rozello Bay', and
'on the east by lot 14. On this is a site for buildling,
and with lot 14 wonld'form a good allotment; the
view is excellent,.
Lot 16. Hfas a frontage on the east of. ahout 297.
feet to the same road; is bounded on the weat by lot.
17 about 694 feet, on the north by Reeelle Bay, and
on the east by lot 15. This is a beautiful allotment;
the view from the upper part has been generally'
much admired, looking across flozelle Bay. It also
includes a good' slice of fhe garden.
o .Lot 17. A superior corner allotment;s has a fronit
age to the east (an part) of about '161 feet to the*
Came road, on te remainder it is bounded by lot
