eye. When really herself the daughter

The Christmas trotting programmes
appear to have met with general appro
val by owners and trainers. The tight
ening of the limit marks in all the big
races should make for better racing.
'Blue Rock, who would nave won the

One of the most disappointing horses

track is Charming Don. The Don Pronto

the meeting held last week Gaynor's re
presentative bad the pole for a while in
the concluding event, but he -was never
dangerous after he was caught.
? Herman Boy is not turning out as weQ
as he promised a few months ago. The
locally bred gelding was not badly placed
in the Wagin Handicap last week, but he
shaped indifferently. Fortunately for
backers he was not in commission in the
ring, odds of 7 to 1 being on offer, about
