Closes at Perth every Tuesday, at 6.30 a-m.
Newcastle, Northam, York, Beverley and
Albany. Mails close at the General Post
Office daily at 12.15 p.m.
Brooke Hill, Katanning, Mt. Barker,
Narrogin, Pingelly, and Wagin. Mails close
at the General Post Office daily at 11.45 a.m.
Guildford Mail closes daily at the
General Post Office at 8 and 9.40 a.m., 12.40
and 2 pm,
Fremantle-road closes daily at the
General Post Office at 7.10, 9, 10 40 am., 1240
and 3.40 p.m. North Fremantle. Daily ; 7.10
a.m. and 3.40 p.m.
Berkshire Valley, Carnamah, Dongarra,
Greenough, Geraldton, Irwin, Narra Tarra,
New Norcia, Northampton. Strawberry.
Mail closes at the General Post Office every
Monday at 6.30 a.m.
Claremont Mail closes at the General
Post Office daily at 716 and 10.40 a.m.
Bannister, Daylerking, Marradong, Wand-
ering Mail closes at the General Post Office
every alternate Monday at 11.45 a.m. -
Wanneroo-road closes at the General
Post Office every Wednesday at 3 p.m.
Arthur River (via Wagin), Kojonup
(via Broome Hill), Southern Cross and Williams
River Mail closes every Monday at
11.45 a jar.

town, Balingup (via Bunbury), Balbarrup (via
Bunbury), Australind, Augusta (via Bussel-
ton), Canning, Capel, Dardanup, Harvey,
Jarrahdale, Jayes (via Bridgetown), Kelmscott,
Ludlow, Lockville, Lower Blackwood,

Mail closes at the General Post Office every
Monday and Thursday at 8 a.m.
As this colony entered the Universal Postal
Union on the 1st of October, 1891, the postage
on correspondence to all countries (except
Australasia and Polynesia, which remains as
at present will be as follows Letters 2nd.
peri/oz.;-post cards, 1d. each.; newspapers,
each, d. per 4 oz. and under, and 4d. for every
additional 2 oz. or fraction thereof ; printed
papers of every kind, 4d. per oz. ; Commercial
papers, 2 d. per 4 oz. and under, and 1d. for
every additional 2 oz. or fraction thereof ;.
patterns and samples of merchandise, 6d. per
2 oz. ; registration fee (including Australasia
and Polynesia;, 3d. The sender of a registered
article to any foreign country (including Australasia
and Polynesia), in the Postal Union
may obtain an acknowledgment of its receipt
by the addressee, upon payment of a fee of
2d. in addition to the ordinary registration
fee.
