MR. STEERE AND THE BUNBURY
ELECTORATE., .
. A rumour has reached us from Bunbury to
the effect that Mr. Steere hesitates as to
whether he shall come forward for his old
electorate at the approaching elections. We
sincerly trust we shall find that rumour is
mistaken. Mr. Steere is a man whom we can
ill afford to lose from the Legislative Council.
Straightforward, manly, true, a gentleman,
she is a representative of whom any con-
stituency might be proud. We cannot believe
that the people of Bunbury can be so blind to
their own interests is not to see the advantage
and distinction which they gain from
having Mr. Steere as their member and we
trust that seeing how critical are our present
times, Mr. Steere will feel it his duty to take
up again the political work which he is so
well qualified to perform.
