Steady at Opening Rates
Good Competition

AL tueLondou wool sales to-day there
were 10,895 bales on offer, including 039
New South Wales, 1,060 Queensland, 631
Victoria, 297 AVest Australia, 193 South
Australia, 135 Tasmania, 3,871 New.Zea-
land, ol which approximately (5,576 were
sold.
There was a .moderate offering- oE
Merinos, principally good style, and a
large offering of crossbreds. Good com-
petition prevailed,-and prices compared
with opening rates. . Merinos were tully
firm, and crossbreds were selling in the
owners' favour. Quotations:
