Presentations to Diligent Members.
I The Stonehenge todgeroom last even
ing was the scene of two very pleasing
ceremonies—that of presenting tokens
of respect to two diligent brothers.. The
presentation of the evening was to
Treasurer Bro. A. M’Kinnon, and con
sisted of a handsome and beautifully
engraved gold albert and pendant, the
workmanship of Bro. W. Overland, of
this lodge. Bro. M’Rinnon, who has for
ten years fulfilled the oilice of treasurer
Ito this lodge, has during that period
been unceasing in his endeavours to for
ward its interests, and has always been
willing to assist those in need. Some
time ago the members wished to bestow
some mark of respect to Bru. M’Kinnon,
but he declined all overtures. .The pre
I sent attempt proved more successful.
Engraved on one side of the pendant is
. the head of a Druid, with the letters
| U.A.O.D. overhead, and on the other,
encircled with mistletoe, is, “Presented
(by the Stonehenge Lodge, No. 134, to
TreasurerBro, A. M’KInnon forten years’
faithful service.” P.D.P. Bro. C. Smith
was Intrusted with the formal presenta
tion. Bro. M'RInnon, in replying, said
it came as a surprise to him, but he
hoped lie would continue to merit the
confidence reposed in him. The second
presentation, which was also conducted
by Bro. Smith, consisted of a P.A. collar
and ease, to .p.A. Bru. 11, Bournes, as an
acknowledgment of his untiring efforts
to push the lodge and order forward.
Bro. Bournes suitably responded. The
lodge then adjourned for a couple of
hours' harmony, after which the accounts
