was from Warwick, and concerned the ever*
present railway rates; the other was fathered
by Mr. Kingsbury, and emanated from the
West Moreton Colliery Company, raising
objection to the proposed Now Bwanbank
Bailway. Mr. Turley desired to ask the
Premier whether the mail steamor shortly to
leave Brisbane* would be allowed to carry her
coloured crew. But a diffioulty presented
itself, inasmuch as Mr. Nelson was not in
attendance. Mr. Byrnes had no information,
and advised Mr. Turley to give notice. . Herein
was another dificulty, because before the query
could be answered the mail steamer would be
on her way to England. Mr. Turley, however,
had to be satisfied.
