Sydney, November 17.
’ In view of the reckless charges which of Into
have been frequently made in the Legislative
Assembly, Sir Henry Parkes intends to intro
duce almost immediately a short bill by which
if any member makes charges of bribery and
corruption against another, he will be called
upon to substantiate them or admit they were
made unguardedly and without justification.
Should the chargesnot be proved or withdrawn,
then the member uttering them will ho expelled
from the House and disqualified for election for
a period of three or five years.
