Christmas Tree and Entertainment.

were held in the Windsor Congregational
Church' last, Tuesday evening, when tho
Sunday school aebolnrs. were each, given
a free entrance, ami u gift, per. "Fa'ihen
Christinas,**' from the tree. The pastor

tertaiiunent, and Mr. If. Parker, the Sun-.
<Hy school .superintendent., offered tho
opening prayer, ..and gave an address to ■
the parents, A very enjoyable programme ■
was submitted, including the following;— ..
Girls* chorus,- "Oh-Hasten from the Busy
Town"; solo (Master Turner),- "! am a
Jjittle Sntlor Boy”:- dialogue by, 7 girls,
™J)aya of the "Week”; action song, ."Teh
Little Nigger Boya// by 10 'boys—a very,
amusing item, 4 which was heartily en
cored; recitation, "What Bolls' Think” -1
(Jessie 3'Tfifer); _ sofb, “11!ue Children’*! '
Prayer”. (Miss Lizzie M'Grogor); action,
song, with 'handkerchiefs, girls; quartette!
“The Wayside' Wall" (Mw«ea Lane ami'
jM.*Oonnchie, and Messrs. f’aihoiu* and.
Turner);, duet, . “Dolls*'; (little .Misses
Turner); girls*, chorus,'“'Merrily Over tho ;
Sen." • The second part of the/evening
was inhen up by “Father Christmas." who
gave .to; every Sunday school scholar an
appropriate present. The ^building was
crowded wit'll a thoroughly appreciative
congregation; who evidently enjoyed ' the -
festive function as much as the.little one?.
The Windsor S.S. Band played several ..
carols .outside the building, and Misd-Elsie
